「呂志和獎」

「呂志和獎」為一項嶄新國際性的崇高榮譽，有別於一般國際性獎項會有固定的領域，獲頒發「呂志和獎」之人士或團體乃按其能否符合獎項的三大目標（促使世界資源可持續發展、促進世人福祉、倡導積極正面人生觀及提升正能量以振奮人心），並對世界文明有卓越貢獻，因此獎項所涉獵的範疇甚廣，獲獎者並不局限於學者和科學家。

LUI Che Woo Prize

Unlike other international prizes which have specific fields, the LUI Che Woo Prize is a new and prestigious international accolade awarded to individuals or organisations who have displayed remarkable achievements towards the three objectives of the Prize (Sustainable development of the world, Betterment of the welfare of mankind, Promotion of positive life attitude and enhancement of positive energy) thereby contributing to world civilisation. Thus, the coverage of the LUI Che Woo Prize is very broad, the recipients not being limited to academics and scientists.

持續發展奬獲奬者－解振華

解振華獲授予以「預防氣候變化」為關注領域的「呂志和獎－持續發展獎」，以表彰他作為成功遊說及促成2015年《巴黎協定》的關鍵人物，以及其在中國組織和推動預防氣候變化的工作。他所制定、提倡和實施的政策，成為其他發展中經濟體的模範。

Sustainability Prize – Laureate XIE Zhenhua

Xie Zhenhua is awarded the LUI Che Woo Prize 2017 in the Sustainability category, with the Specific Area of Focus on “Prevention of Climate Change”, for his crucial role in championing international negotiations, culminating in the successful conclusion of the Paris Agreement in 2015, and his efforts in coordinating and promoting the prevention of climate change within China. The policies Mr. Xie devised, advocated and implemented have become models for other developing economies.
